The Normandy® Wood Blind collection represents the pinnacle of fine-furniture aesthetics. Made from the fast-growing, eco-friendly Paulownia tree (known as Phoenixwood®), these premium blinds offer a striking, deep-grain texture with an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio that prevents bowing on wider windows. Each wood slat undergoes a specialized quarter-sawn cutting process and Norman’s proprietary Prescription Wood Conditioning® kiln-drying method. This advanced engineering pre-conditions the timber to match the unique humidity profile of your home, virtually eliminating warping, shrinking, and splitting.
Equipped with Norman’s award-winning SmartPrivacy® technology, the traditional, light-leaking route holes in the middle of the slats are completely eliminated. By shifting the lift cords to the back edge, the slats close flatter and tighter than standard blinds—blocking out annoying light dots, protecting your furniture from UV damage, and offering total privacy. Available with completely cordless operating systems for ultimate child and pet safety, Normandy® blinds provide a high-end, tailored finish.
